Drift

A couple of days ago I went down to Drift with the hope of photographing the Whooper Swan. Unfortunately no Whooper but whilst in the car park this Buzzard did a low pass so as the camera was in hand I couldn't resist a quick blast with the Nikon. Note the throat, this bird has had a good feed.

    Great shots of the Buzzard Sam. They always appeal to me. The Whooper is a loner - Billy no mates, and always some distance away! On the occasions I have looked for it I had to make a big effort; carrying the scope down that hill and across the dam, and no chance of a piccie!

    He does look rather full!!! Not seen any Whooper swan but the buzzard(s) are often around near the car park.
