A Mixed Bag

Here are a few more shots from Chapel Carn Brea. Larks and Meadow Pipits, at this time of year are easier to capture as their aim is to distract you from their nest location. When walking up Chapel Carn  Brea, they fly across the footpath displaying making them a reasonably easy capture.

Meadow Pipits, Sky Larking

An evening walk up Chapel Carn Brea hoping for a Black Kite, no luck there but I captured a few shots of two Meadow Pipits getting a bit territorial I would guess.

Hedgehog Release Day

Today we released an Hedgehog we overwintered, Lisa found this Hog in October in a poor state. With over one hundred ticks, mite and probable lung worm we didn't hold much hope, he also is blind in one eye. However Lisa took him to the vets and nursed, fed and treated him throughout the winter. He made a full recovery and was released today.
