Pintail and Pochard

These images are of overwintering pintail and Pochard at Slimbridge. An interesting fact about the Pochard migration is a Pochard ringed at Slimbridge was found on the Russia /Chinese border a distance of approximately 8500 miles.

  1. Love the Pintails. I can't get enough Wildfowl at the moment and the males are all so handsome. I could watch them for hours. Great shots.

  6. Love the pintail shot.I wish I could get a photo of the pintail here in the open on are pond because he is very nervy. Nice shots.
