Sandwich Terns

It was good to see these juvenile Sandwich Terns at Marazion yesterday. In the spring I photographed the adults on their way to the breeding grounds so it was good to photograph the offspring on their way back.

Mounts Bay

Their is so much going on at Marazion and Mounts Bay it is hard to stay away. The following images were taken a couple of days ago of Sandwich Terns and an Atlantic Grey Seal close in shore. Please click on the images to enlarge

Sandwich Terns in Mounts Bay

I photographed these Sandwich Terns late afternoon on Saturday 11th April. The Terns were feeding on Sand Eel,stocking up on food to then move onto there breeding grounds. The distance to the subject was to far for a highly defined image and the images are heavily cropped.
