Bits and Pieces

I just had to revisit the Whooper with the D300 so apologies for the repeat. The Carrion Crow was taken at Trewey whilst out looking for Short Eared Owl and Hen Harrier and the Bewick and Tufty was taken at Slimbridge

  1. Wonderful images Sam!!
Have you ever had SEO at Trewey common?
We have been up there loads of times and never seen any.
    When is the best time?

  2. Great set, cracking capture on the last picture

  3. I haven't seen a Short Eared This winter. I think it was March last year when I saw them and according to some more expert birders you are more likely to see them around that time of year.
    Thanks for the comment Ash.

  4. Fab shots Sam,love all flight shots.

  5. Lovely shots Sam - LOVE the inquisitive looking Whooper! I think I have a passion for Swans. I just love the close ups and the one above it is a cracker too.

  6. Oh my! This series is just superb! I love the first one, the last one, the middle one .... well, all of them! Wonderful work.

  7. Great shots Sam, The Whooper with the landing gear down does it for me.
