Driving through Marazion yesterday late afternoon, I stopped and spoke to Lynton Proctor who pointed out a just reported Garganey on the reserve, as the daylight hours are increasing I drove home for the camera, hoping to get some shots of it in the evening light. No luck with the Garganey but I managed to grab a shot of a Sandwich Tern diving for Sand eel, a mediocre Sparrow Hawk image and Sanderling in flight.

Last week I was in Bulgaria with my family for a short holiday. We spent a
few days in the Rhodopean mountains, and two nights in Sofia the capital.
