At last the jet stream has pushed of up North and we finally have high pressure and good weather, with the back finally on the mend, on Saturday I had a trip with big lens. I missed out on the gull festival at Marazion and hoped to catch up with some of our overwintering birds before the followed the jet stream to their breeding grounds. Marazion drew a blank but Battery Rocks, in Penzance gave up a Great Northern Diver, Male Eider Duck and Purple Sandpiper.
