Pochard and Geese From Slimbridge

Lisa captured this Pochard,

I captured this flight shot, good light allowed faster shutter speeds
The Bewick Swan's were in short supply, one hundred and ninety to be precise. Normally there are three hundred plus, the numbers are down due to the mild winter, a sign of intelligence they fly only as far as they need to escape the weather.
White Fronted Geese taken from the Holden Hide, I could not sort out whether any Greenland White Fronts were amongst the European White Fronts

  1. Hi Sam and Lisa another great set of photos looks like you had a good time at Slimbridge

  2. Hi Sam and Lisa good set of pictures, good light makes a huge difference, well done

  3. Very impressive flight shots! So colorful and clear.
