Cape Cornwall Gannets

The Gannet, is one of my favourite sea birds, so on Saturday while the wife had her hair done I spent a couple of hours at Cape Cornwall photographing this species. I reduced the aperture to f8 or there about to give some depth of field as I feel that, when photographing this species the sea should be in focus. If you think I am wrong please tell me.
