Hedgehogs

More shots from the garden, we have had up to four Hedgehogs in the garden and all at the same time. I did not realise how competitive they are with each other, charging at each other and snorting. The image below shows one hedgehog boring into the side of another, the force turned the other onto its side who then curled into its defencive ball.

Turtle Dove

The lack of posts from me lately relates to work and no play again, although by the looks of things I  am not missing much on the birding front.However when I looked out of my window this morning at around 0715, I was amazed to see a Turtle Dove in the garden, luckily my camera was out of its bag so I grabbed a couple of shots through the window.

Marazion Today

I took a day off today, and visited Marazion for a couple of hours, a few passage migrants were on the reserve such as Northern Wheatear and Whimbrel. There seems to be high numbers of Whimbrel around this year.
