A few more of the Dalmatian

Dalmatian Pelican

Patience paid off this evening, I went to Drift Reservoir to capture images of the Dalmatian Pelican, siting it from the car park, I route marched out to the hide. The Pelican was drifting parallel with the hide some distance away. very quickly the wind and rain arrived and made visibility poor and it drifted right down to the dam giving excellent views from the car park and a white speck for me. I decided to stay put and it paid dividends.

Snake Wrangling And Rock Pooling

What a few weeks we have had for birds, the latest a Dalmation Pelican at Lands End originally found by Paul Freestone down at St Gothian sands. What a sight to see in Cornwall, whether an escape or truly wild it was a fantastic bird to see.Unfortunately  no images of the Pelican, however the following is a diversification for me, a few of a slow worm we found whilst out on Sunday and a couple of underwater rock pool images. All taken with an Olympus TG4 stylus waterproof compact camera.
