Milking The Great White Heron

On Saturday evening I revisited Marazion, other locations nearby was fog bound so I revisited the Great White Heron.

Great White Egret

Good timing and a bit of luck delivered the Great White Egret to my camera at Marazion. Within ten minutes the Great White Egret showed beautifully, flying in and landing in the front of the reserve. As usual I was looking in the wrong direction when I heard Rod Farnes spraying and praying with his Canon as we photographers do so I started doing the same.

Hoopoe

Another well photographed bird at St Leven cricket club. I, and many others had a go at this easy to find Hoopoe.

An Evening at Marazion

With cracking male Wheatears, and a few waders on the beach  amounted to an enjoyable couple of hours. However normally when a Bar Tailed Godwit is around this time of yea,r they are in their glorious breeding plumage, as usual for me this one was rough as rats and with a limp.
