Out with the big lens today and came across Grey Wagtails feeding their young. The distance from the subject was sufficient so as not to disturb them. I had trouble with gauging the exposure as the chicks where back in a pipe and in a darker space than the surrounding area.
Tonight we went for a walk down throughKenidjack and found four fox cubs playing in a field, so we returned home for the camera and managed to capture a few images, We were pleased to see this family as over the past twelve months we have discovered a couple of carcasses that were probably shot. One was a stunning dog fox with four black socks and was really healthy, an individual that Lisa and I have been watching for a couple of years.
