Atlantic Greys

Family time on Sunday so Lisa and I along with our eldest son went to Gwithian to photograph Seal Pups. Unfortunately we didn't find the Pups but witnessed what look like courtship displays. Photography was difficult as we were standing on the cliff top photographing into a shaded bay, please click on the images to enlarge.

Macro Little Stint

I called into Marazion late this afternoon and found two juv Little Stint, they were so confiding and allowed close photography. With the high Spring Tides they were feeding in a narrow margin of sand and it was a privilege to see them this close.

Great Diving Wood Sand Piper

Whilst scanning through the images I managed to recover, I found this from the images I took of the Wood Sandpiper at Stithians. I remember trying to grab the Sparrow Hawk action chasing a Wood Sand and thought I had missed the action . I guess this is a Great Diving Wood Sandpiper.
